CALL FOR APPLICATIONS, DL 30.4.
THE 98TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION OF THE TURKU ARTISTS’ ASSOCIATION
15.7.2022–28.8.2022
The 98th Annual Exhibition of the Turku Artists’ Association will be seen in all three galleries of Kunsthalle Turku (Vanha suurtori 5, Turku) from 15.7.2022 to 28.8.2022. The call for applications is open to all artists and art students from Southwest Finland. The exhibition is juried by visual artist and author Heikki Kännö.
The call for applications for The Annual Exhibition of Turku Artists’ Association opens 4.4.2022. The application period starts on Monday 4.4. at 12am and ends on Saturday 30.4. at midnight.
Artists may submit up to three (3) art works or series of art works to the jury. The works are to be from the years 2020–2022. There are no restrictions on the subject, size/duration or techniques of the works. Artists may only submit finished works. There must be one high resolution picture per work or series of works attached to the application, (JPG, file size max 10 Mt). NAME YOUR FILES: lastnamefirstname_workname_TTS98 .
The artist themself is responsible for the security of the works and that the works are safe for viewers as well as the transportation of selected works and insuring the works.
The juror will make the selections based on applications. All the applicants will be notified of the selection results via email on week 20 at the latest. The juror or the Artists’ Association will not explain or justify the selections.
