Photographic Centre Peri is an open association working in the field of photography and lens based contemporary art, and it serves as a regional photographic centre in Southwest Finland. Our aim is to promote the visibility of photographic art, local and international cooperation, and encourage dialogue between artists and audiences through exhibitions, workshops, and courses. Through our exhibition programme, we seek to highlight underrepresented perspectives and new themes, as well as to strengthen the position and dialogue of contemporary photographic art.
Photographic Centre Peri’s exhibitions for spring 2026 were selected through an open call. The selection was made by a jury of experts invited to the task, which included Visual Artist, Curator and Co-founder/Co-editor of NO NIIN magazine, Visual Artist Elham Rahmati, University Lecturer and Visual Artist Matti Tainio and Film Director and Photographic and Video Artist Marja Helander.
