NYTT 2024 -exhibition presents contemporary art from graduating visual artists’ from Arts Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences. The exhibition is open at Art House Turku and Kunsthalle Turku’s Iso Galleria 5.4. – 28.4.2024.
Turku UAS’ Arts Academy’s thesis exhibition includes 23 artists who take over the space with different methods. The exhibition contains diverse and unique techniques from digital paintings to more traditional oil paintings. Works include photography that captures the moment, lively animation, easy going readymade -pieces and layered and soft pencil drawings.
The exhibition showcases the way that its’ artists are present at the world around them. The unique body of the exhibition and its shapes and content intertwine with global issues. You can clearly see strong experimentalism and pushing of boundaries in the art pieces of the exhibition.
NYTT 2024 -exhibition will be present in two different locations mentioned above. Travelling between these locations will be easy due to the close proximity to each other.
Opening of the exhibition will be held 4.4 in Art House Turku at 17-19 and in Kunsthalle Turku at 18-20 o’clock. As a part of the exhibition there will be extra activities. More info on these activities you can find at nytt.turkuamk.fi
